Procedures

  • Announcement → First selection by reviewing documents → second selection (presentation on a research field/written tests) → third selection (interview) → committee review → appointment

* The first selection of Star Research Scientist will be operated by professional review committee

Qualifications

Junior Research Scientist

  • For Research Scientist
    1. The applicant must have written two or more papers as a first author or the correspondence author published in SCI(E) Journal in the past 5 years.
  • Junior Research Scientist
    1. ① The applicant must hold a certified English transcript (TOEIC 700, TOEFL CBT 210, TOEFL IBT 77, TEPS second class (600) or more) in the past 2 years.
  • Star Research Scientist (meeting the requirements of ① or ②)
    1. ①The applicant must be the first author or the correspondence author of a paper published in more than one of the following: Nature, Science, or Cell, in the past 5 years. (Except Sister Journals or Publications)
    2. ②The applicant must be a major project Principal Investigator who earned 2.5 billion Korean won in royalties in the past 5 years.
For Research Specialist
  • Senior Research Specialist
    1. ① The applicant must hold two or more papers as a first author or the correspondence author published in domestic or international journals in the past 5 years.
  • Junior Research Specialist
    1. ① The applicant must hold a certified English transcript (TOEIC 700, TOEFL CBT 210, TOEFL IBT 77, TEPS second class (600) or more) in the past 2 years.
For Administrator Associate
  • Junior Administrator Associate
    1. ① The applicant must hold a certified English transcript (TOEIC 700, TOEFL CBT 210, TOEFL IBT 77, TEPS second class (600) or more) in the past 2 years.

Evaluation of re-appointment

  • The initial contract for newly hired employees will be one year, and according to the evaluation of personnel affair committee, re-appointment is possible.
