East Sea Research Institute of KIOST participated in the "1st Korea Ocean Science Industry Festival" from the 6th (Fri) to the 7th (Sat) and operated ocean science lectures, practice, experiences and promotional booths.

The event was hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Uljin-gun and co-hosted by three GMSP institutions (East Sea Research Institute of KIOST, National Marine Science Museum, and Hwanhae Sea Industry Research Institute). KIOST participated in various events to interest visitors in ocean science by participating in programs such as a public relations booth, underwater robot exhibition, onboard experience, experiment, and tour.
