On December 19, Irjen. Pol. Drs. Victor Gustav Manoppo, Director of the Maritime Space Management Office of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia, officials from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia, and professors from IPB universities visited KIOST and held a joint seminar with the KIOST Marine Law Policy Institute.

At this seminar to share the experience and knowledge of Marine Space Policy(MSP) related technologies, KIOST introduced the study of 'marine space policy simulator technology development' to support MSP's scientific decision-making and shared the need for continuous cooperation for the development of MSP science and technology.

*KIOST has been developing marine space policy simulation technology based on marine digital platform for marine activity prediction, scenario-based spatial change, and policy diagnosis since 2022.
